Lewis Owes $27,000 in Child Support

I hate it when men owe tons in child support and then try to blame the mother for not paying what they owe. It is time for every Lewis and Lewisette to step up to the plate and pay what is owed, not for you ex but for your children...... if you really love them.

There are people all over the nation that find it ok to leave their childrens future up to some government agency and not take personal responsibility..... come on. If you are a real man or woman and you owe even a dollar to your children it is time to show them that you actually love them.

Japan scientist synthesizes meat from human feces

"Mitsuyuki Ikeda, a researcher from the Okayama Laboratory, has developed steaks based on proteins from human excrement. Tokyo Sewage approached the scientist because of an overabundance of sewage mud. They asked him to explore the possible uses of the sewage and Ikeda found that the mud contained a great deal of protein because of all the bacteria.

The researchers then extracted those proteins, combined them with a reaction enhancer and put it in an exploder which created the artificial steak. The “meat” is 63% proteins, 25% carbohydrates, 3% lipids and 9% minerals. The researchers color the poop meat red with food coloring and enhance the flavor with soy protein. Initial tests have people saying it even tastes like beef."

In the 1970's President Carter thought we should eat worm burgers but I do believe this has gone even farther then that on the grossness scale.

I've now been in 57 states

It is part of Americana to laugh at the garbled words of our Presidents. These poor souls are always speaking in public and eventually will say some of the strangest things. We have laughed at every President starting with George Washington up to George W Bush but we seem to have lost the ability to laugh at Obama..... till now.

Even though Obama uses teleprompters every time he speaks (even to a 5th grade class) he does make some funny statements. It seems that by looking at the above picture he has now even start to make some media correspondents wear teleprompter hats... why, I am not sure.

"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries."

"UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." He was trying to make the case for government-run healthcare, but seemed to have undercut his own argument.

"No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something."

"What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..."

"Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change."

"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong."

"I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go."

"Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions."

"In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed." Talkin about a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people

''The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.''

''Romans is some obscure book in the Bible''

''Ok, look, you know, when I was a kid, I inhaled frequently. That was the point.''

You may call me racist because I laugh at the funny things Obama says but please remember this simple thing..... If you treat a man different because of the color of his skin then YOU are racist. Even If you treat someone better then the rest because of his skin color.

and do not forget that the White House claims we are not in combat in Libya.... we are just bombing people and killing them.

Iran to send monkey into space

"The Kavoshgar-5 rocket will be launched during the month of Mordad [July 23 to August 23] with a 285-kilogram capsule carrying a monkey to an altitude of 120 kilometers ," according to Hamid Fazeli, the head of Iran's space organization.

In the above picture we see the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, begging the Mullahs to reconsider sending him on the rocket since he is the only monkey in Iran. He promises to be good and will even join the circus if it will keep him from being shot into space.

Harlequin novel, Love American Style 2011

He grasped me firmly, but gently, just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone. He
approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to my ear.

"Just relax."

Without warning, he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing, and moving upward along my calves, slowly but steadily. My breath caught in my throat.

I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn't care. His touch was so experienced, so sure. When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a
slight shudder, and partly closed my eyes. My pulse was pounding.

I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my ribcage. And then, as he cupped my firm, full breasts in his hands, I inhaled sharply.

Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine and into my panties.

Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant. This is a man, I thought. A man used to taking charge. A man
not used to taking 'No' for an answer. A man who would tell me what he wanted. A man who would look into my soul and say . . . .

"Okay ma'am, you can board your flight now."

Women Who Know Thier Place !!!!

Barbara Walters, of  20/20, did a story on gender roles in  Kabul , Afghanistan , several years before the Afghan conflict.

She noted that women customarily walked five paces behind their husbands.

She recently returned to Kabul and observed that women still walk behind their husbands.

Despite the overthrow of  the oppressive Taliban regime, the women now seem happy to maintain the old custom.

Walters  approached one of the Afghani women and asked, 'Why do you now seem happy with an old custom that you once tried so desperately to change?'

The woman looked Walters  straight in the eyes, and without hesitation said, “Land Mines.”

At least the women who live in repressive countries are smart.

**************************And for those waiting with bated breath, the best political humorist of all time in my opinion: Will Rogers:
There's no trick to being a humorist when you have the whole government working for you.
Ancient Rome declined because it had a Senate; now what's going to happen to us with both a Senate and a House?
I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat.
I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.
The more you read and observe about this Politics thing, you got to admit that each party is worse than the other. The one that's out always looks the best.
The income tax has made more liars out of the American people than golf has.
On account of being a democracy and run by the people, we are the only nation in the world that has to keep a government four years, no matter what it does.
The man with the best job in the country is the Vice President. All he has to do is get up every morning and say, "How's the President?"
An economist's guess is liable to be as good as anybody else's.
Alexander Hamilton started the U.S. Treasury with nothing -- and that was the closest our country has ever been to being even.
Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for.
Politics has become so expensive that it takes a lot of money even to be defeated.
Diplomacy is the art of saying "Nice doggie" until you can find a rock.
A fool and his money are soon elected.
About all I can say for the United States Senate is that it opens with a prayer and closes with an investigation.
Our Constitution protects aliens, drunks, and U.S. Senators.

One of Life Little Mysteries.

I've often asked this question myself "Why do ordinarily rational people defend giving away money to the already rich?" At their own poverty stricken expense? I've always considered it a form of religion: "You have to believe in the delusion before you can understand why they do it"

However, the underlying link gives some thought to the matter and a request for restraint. How dumb do you have to be before you realize you are cutting your own financial throat?

Why Obama Cannot be Beat in 2012

The top 10 reasons that I believe that President Obama will be reelected.

1 - Higher food prices will only help make Americans stay thinner and more healthy

2 - Higher fuel prices will help make people walk and/or make families stick at home to spend quality time together.

3 - He has spent so much time on luxury vacations and on entertainment TV that people have learned to live vicariously through him and would feel lost if he was not out having fun.

4 - High unemployment means that parents have more time with their children

5 - The promise of Amnesty for illegal immigrants means that we will no longer need to work but can let others do it for us.

6 - He won the  Nobel Peace Prize so it is ok that he is leading in 3 different wars and looking to possibly put us in a fourth. This is great entertainment for us Americans, we need the modern coliseum for our fun.

7 - Working hard to increase the national debt so we can enjoy our lives and hope to be dead before the bill is due.

8 - Devaluing home values and increasing failed mortgages means that we all will have nice small apartments that will be easier to clean.

9 - We no longer need to worry about telling our doctor what is wrong with us, Obama care will now take care of that.

10 - A huge portion of people who say they plan on voting for him in 2012 also claim to get most of their political information from Comedy Central.

Life is absolutely wonderful..... lets enjoy it.

Time to Leave Washington

An interesting letter in the Australian Shooter Magazine this week:

"If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq Theater of operations during the past 22 months, and a total of 2112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.

The firearm death rate in Washington, DC is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means you are about 25 per cent more likely to be shot and killed in the US capital which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the U..S., than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington.

Difference Between a Leader and an Egoist

George W. Bush speech after capture of Saddam:

The success of yesterday's mission is a tribute to our men and women now serving in Iraq . The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the dictator's footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Our servicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the nation, I thank the members of our Armed Forces and I congratulate 'em.

Barack Obama speech after killing of bin Laden:

And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as we continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network. Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan . And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad , Pakistan .

Another End Time Prophecy.

There are many sects among different religions that predict an end to the world. The predicted date will come and pass but the die hard true believers will just go along and warn that the next date is true no matter how often they were wrong in the past. The biggest cult to have failed with their predictions and still have a substantial following is those of the Man Made Global Warming Cult (MMGWC).

1988 - "Congressional Expert" In 20-25 years we should expect temperatures to be 20 degrees warmer

2006 - "In five years there will be no more snow in North America" Congressman

Tim Flannery “The water problem is so severe for Adelaide that it may run out of water by early 2009.”

Professor Ove Hoegh-Guldberg - In 2006 “between 30 and 40 per cent of coral on Queensland’s great Barrier Reef could die within a month”.

Dr David Barber he predicted that 2009 "the Arctic’s first ice-free year”

The MET has so far predicted 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007 would be the world’s hottest or second-hottest year on record, but nine of the past 10 years it predicted temperatures too high.

Guru Al Gore is famous for making many false predictions but he is the Pope of the new cult so if you attack the man by simply pointing out what he has said wrong over and over then you should prepare to have the faithful come knocking.

There are literally thousands of false predictions but the fact is that Man Made Global Warming has turned into nothing but another cult. It does not matter how many times their Gurus are wrong because these people have greater faith then most people who listen to Family Radio.

The Family Radio people did not want to destroy your lives, nor did they want to legislate your every move so I find them not near as crazy or dangerous as the MMGW cult.

Poor? Then Your Kids Are Probably Fat !!!

The simple fact about the "poor" in America is that they are not poor in comparison to other countries of the world. "The food you eat, how much exercise you get and which zip code you call home. These are all things that can make you fat, according to a public health study. Dr. Lauren Smith, medical director for the state Department of Public Health, traced a direct correlation between child obesity rates and a community’s median household income."

This is probably the first time in the history of the world that the poorer you are the more obese you will probably become. The argument that poor people can only afford high caloric and highly processed food is actually a mute one because even if they could not afford "healthy" food they could still buy a can of corn.

I am not against the idea that the poor should not be helped but I am against the idea that the poor do not have ANY responsibility to take care of their children. I believe that much of the problems stems from the fact that we have taught generations of people that they have no responsibility for their actions..... what do you think?

We have met the Enemy and He is Us.

When I was 16 years old, almost 17, I had sex for the first time and almost got caught in the act. The girl was willing, if almost as inept as myself but we somehow managed to stumble through the act and get it done.

A couple of years later I found out that she had done the act with the husband of the first girl I ever kissed(but never had sex with) and this time, she got pregnant. Not wanting the child she took the only course open to her and had a backyard abortion. Got infected, lost her uterus to save her life and never had a baby to call her own.

Is this what you want to go back to? Is this what the GOP is trying to encourage? Look no further than Guatemala if you want to see the results of your policies:

http://english.aljazeera.net/programmes/birthrights/2011/04/201141275013687249.html

Damn, how dumb can you be? How many times to you have to learn the same lesson the rest of us figured out in 1973? And thought we had put an end to it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roe_v._Wade

Get over it GOP.

Republicans Carried to their Fainting Couches During Budget Speech

Did the poor little dears hear something that just made them swoon? Why yes, they heard from the president of the United States that their math just didn't add up. They heard that there is no excuse for being so selfish, for not looking after each other and for not sharing prosperity.

How hard can it be to understand that it is un-American to take food away from children who need it and health care away from senior citizens who will die without it?

I still do not understand why Obama is so kind and gentle and measured about it. But then again, I still do not understand why Americans would vote for the GOP candidates and so hope to be governed by people who hate them.

French Kiss a Corporation

Yes, it's time to tax the rich just like it's time to tax corporations. Only trouble is...getting some needed revenue from them would offend almost 400 people! But don't worry all you conservative bean counters...the GOP has got your back on this one. That's right...lets just compare how much they just saved you hmmmmm about 38 billion. Now lets see how much they just cost you hmmmm about 100-150 billion for the same 6 months by extending the Bush tax cuts to billionaires.

Best of all? They've trained you to think you got a bargain.

http://thinkprogress.org/2011/04/09/shutdown-deal-bush-tax-cuts/

Neat little accounting trick isn't it? Damn shame it doesn't work out that way on my home budget plan.

Tax The Evil Rich?

It is time for the liberal minded, tax the evil rich people, to go back to school and get an education in simple mathematics. I am actually tired of hearing how we only need to tax the ultra rich to put the US fiscal house in order.... lets take a look at the numbers of the ultra rich.

Lets take the 100 richest people in America and not count their income but lets tax these evil people into oblivion and take 100% of everything they own. We end up with the whopping sum of $812,800,000,000.00 - now that is a HUGE sum of money and think of all the good we could do if we would just force all of these guys to sell everything they own and give it to us, the poor retched people who only have a car or three, food, tv's and if you are reading this then at the very least a computer you can use.

Now here is where the problem comes.... we are averaging a 4.11 billion dollar deficit a day, not how much we spend but how much we have to borrow every day. If we take every dime from the 100 richest all it would do would be buy us a little over 6 months time.

The problem is not the evil rich but the greedy government. The whole argument about making the ultra rich pay is just simple class warfare and nothing more. The rich should pay (PLEASE CUT ALL OF THEIR LOOPHOLES) but they are not the problem.... we are.

Until we can admit that we cannot keep taking more then we spend then we are headed for doom. Calling people names, play class warfare and acting like actual numbers to not count will never work unless you are some left wing lunatic running for congress.

Bring it on Puppies

You voted them in America. Now lets see how your Tea Party stands with the independent voters after their lunacy has real consequences.

Yes, you asked for it alright. No taxes for rich people, no taxes for corporations, in short no revenue stream with which to balance the budget and now all the cuts have to come from real people losing their jobs and shutting down the government.

But to be honest, I'm worried about Obama and his craven give-a-ways to the Tea Party crazies. Like the tax cuts for billionaires for example. Does he have the guts to stand up to them this time? For once he's showing a little backbone but you can never be sure about this guy.

What are we really fighting about here? It's not the money...the two sides are very close...it's an old GOP standby "CULTURE WARS". If it was about money the Baggers wouldn't have a tea pot to stand on: http://money.cnn.com/2011/04/07/news/economy/government_shutdown_cost/

That's right folks, it's going to cost the taxpayer money. The longer it goes on the more we have to pay.

Sort of like the Tea Party really...the longer they are in office the more the average tax payer will have to pay and the more the corporations will get out of paying. Stands to reason doesn't it?

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Now where does the GOP go for its denial of MMGW???

So now where do the deniers of Man Made Global Warming go? They must have forgotten to pay their man enough money to lie about it.

No...the GOP's policy of delusional denial of the bleeding obvious has finally been exposed for what it really is: Intellectual Fraud.

Can't wait to hear the excuses for this one. It really does make for some amusing discussions I must say.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/04/04/963288/-Climate-Skeptic-Confirms-Global-Warming-to-Shocked-Republicans-in-Congress

Best prepare yourselves my conservative friends, one of your most cherished delusions has just been imploded. By your own hands and at your own request no less.

Secret Agent 007 Had Nothing On This Guy

..."A secret agent of Ayn Rand all these years?"

This guy is the person most singly responsible for the housing bubble and subsequent meltdown. We're still paying the price for his nonsense.

Now he tells us...oops...there is really nothing you can do about it so just lie back and think of England while it's happening.

You really do have to wonder.

One other little snippet I found interesting in this article was that Ben Bernanke is now doing the same thing! Sort of like Greenspan peed in one pot till it over flowed into the soup and now Bernanke is just picking another pot to pee in but it will eventually over flow into the soup we all eat just as surely as the last one.

This time the Fed is force feeding money into the system and calling it: "quantitative easing". With rates at zero what do you think is going to happen when global food and commodity prices get out of the reach of ordinary folks just like the cost of housing did under Greenspan.

It is one thing to be foreclosed on and have to move to another home. Or even be homeless for a while. What do you think might happen if the cost of even feeding yourself and your kids is out of reach and the GOP has killed the food stamp program as your last safety net, as they are trying to do? And that's just in this country.

I know what I would do. I've done it before. I haven't forgotten what it felt like or how it was done for that matter.

True, I'm not as fast on my feet as I once was and that bus may well hit me the next time I stand in front of it. But then again, I might just still be willing to see if the driver is willing to run down an old geezer while looking him straight in the eyes. She wasn't the last time.
