Japan scientist synthesizes meat from human feces

"Mitsuyuki Ikeda, a researcher from the Okayama Laboratory, has developed steaks based on proteins from human excrement. Tokyo Sewage approached the scientist because of an overabundance of sewage mud. They asked him to explore the possible uses of the sewage and Ikeda found that the mud contained a great deal of protein because of all the bacteria.
The researchers then extracted those proteins, combined them with a reaction enhancer and put it in an exploder which created the artificial steak. The “meat” is 63% proteins, 25% carbohydrates, 3% lipids and 9% minerals. The researchers color the poop meat red with food coloring and enhance the flavor with soy protein. Initial tests have people saying it even tastes like beef."
In the 1970's President Carter thought we should eat worm burgers but I do believe this has gone even farther then that on the grossness scale.

I've now been in 57 states

It is part of Americana to laugh at the garbled words of our Presidents. These poor souls are always speaking in public and eventually will say some of the strangest things. We have laughed at every President starting with George Washington up to George W Bush but we seem to have lost the ability to laugh at Obama..... till now.
Even though Obama uses teleprompters every time he speaks (even to a 5th grade class) he does make some funny statements. It seems that by looking at the above picture he has now even start to make some media correspondents wear teleprompter hats... why, I am not sure.
"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries."
"UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." He was trying to make the case for government-run healthcare, but seemed to have undercut his own argument.
"No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something."
"What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..."
"Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change."
"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong."
"I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go."
"Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions."
"In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed." Talkin about a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people
''The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.''
''Romans is some obscure book in the Bible''
''Ok, look, you know, when I was a kid, I inhaled frequently. That was the point.''
You may call me racist because I laugh at the funny things Obama says but please remember this simple thing..... If you treat a man different because of the color of his skin then YOU are racist. Even If you treat someone better then the rest because of his skin color.
and do not forget that the White House claims we are not in combat in Libya.... we are just bombing people and killing them.

Iran to send monkey into space

"The Kavoshgar-5 rocket will be launched during the month of Mordad [July 23 to August 23] with a 285-kilogram capsule carrying a monkey to an altitude of 120 kilometers ," according to Hamid Fazeli, the head of Iran's space organization.
In the above picture we see the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, begging the Mullahs to reconsider sending him on the rocket since he is the only monkey in Iran. He promises to be good and will even join the circus if it will keep him from being shot into space.

Harlequin novel, Love American Style 2011

He grasped me firmly, but gently, just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone. He
approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to my ear.
"Just relax."
Without warning, he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing, and moving upward along my calves, slowly but steadily. My breath caught in my throat.
I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn't care. His touch was so experienced, so sure. When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a
slight shudder, and partly closed my eyes. My pulse was pounding.
I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my ribcage. And then, as he cupped my firm, full breasts in his hands, I inhaled sharply.
Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine and into my panties.
Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant. This is a man, I thought. A man used to taking charge. A man
not used to taking 'No' for an answer. A man who would tell me what he wanted. A man who would look into my soul and say . . . .
"Okay ma'am, you can board your flight now."
Thanks Judy S for sending this our way!!

Women Who Know Thier Place !!!!
She noted that women customarily walked five paces behind their husbands.
She recently returned to Kabul and observed that women still walk behind their husbands.
Despite the overthrow of the oppressive Taliban regime, the women now seem happy to maintain the old custom.
Walters approached one of the Afghani women and asked, 'Why do you now seem happy with an old custom that you once tried so desperately to change?'
