If you’ve got (an A) — you didn’t (earn) that.

The President tried out his new business speech with his girls and they thought it sounded funny as well.

"    Look, (girls) if you’ve been successful (in school), you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by (students) who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got (an A) — you didn’t (earn) that. Somebody else made that happen. "

Of course they asked if that means having to study should be done by someone in the government instead of them.

Ain't it amazing I had the verysame teachers as 45 of my classmates - heard the same lessons, read the same books, supposedly did the same homework, but I got the A's and most of them didn't... Now I was in an all-white class, so what is racist about this picture? I entered the service, was an Officer of the United States Army - some (very few) are slated to lead, the rest to follow... and if not for me, very few would have survived the battles we fought... why this dumb sumbitch who got elected thinks he's smarter than the rest of us (and we cain't tell otherwise since he's sealed all redcords)... is beyond me... Been then, I'm a religious Biblke Thumper, clinging to my God and my Gun, so what do I know?

  4. Lance, it does take teachers but to remove all responsibility of success away from the student or business owner is simply insane. Two kids can have the same teacher and one makes better grades then the other solely on the fact that they worked harder.
